How to maintain a wood pellet machine?

1. You should inspect the components of the machine regularly. In general, we suggest you do the inspection once a month. The key parts of the pellet machine include the worm gear, bearings and all the bolts. If the bolts are loose or the bearings wear out seriously, you should solve these problems immediately. After that, you are allowed to use the machine again.

2. The wood pellet machine should be used in clean and dry workshop. You mustn’t place the machine in the workshop that is full of acid gas or corrosive gas.

3. Before stopping the machine, you should check if there is any material in the machine. If the machine is clogged with a lot of material, you should let the pellet machine work until it is empty.  

4. Make sure the rollers and the mould of the machine are tightened properly. If the rollers or the mould are too tight or too loose, then the pellet machine will not able to run normally.

5. If you are going to stop using the pellet making machine for some time, you should clean it from the outside to the inside carefully. After the cleaning process, you should lubricate the bearings and joint parts of the machine with anti-rust oil. Then the machine should be covered by a cloth.
